The mural, “Etnias,” created by Eduardo Kobra for the 2016 Rio Olympics, portrays five indigenous faces from five continents: the Huli of Papua New Guinea (Oceania), the Mursi of Ethiopia (Africa), the Kayin of Thailand (Asia), the Supi of Europe, and the Tapajos, from the Americas. 15 meters tall and 170 meters long, the painting was recognized as the largest graffiti in the world by the Guiness Book of World Records. It was inspired by the Olympic rings and represents peace and union among people. The creation requires 180 buckets of acrylic paints, 2,800 spray cans, and seven hydraulic elevators.
